Sounds like April and smells like allergies.

Spring brings

sick season

and a million reasons

why I DEFINITELY can’t go to school.

Forget the flowers

remember the tissues

and plug ‘em up these nostrils tight.

Because my nose runs faster than I do

when Mom tries

to plop

those drops

    into my eyes!

I itch for summer
